Abu Dhabi City Tour Prices: The Whole Cost, Itemised
AED 499 half day, AED 599 full day — per car, not per person — and every entry ticket printed beside it. This page exists because most city-tour pricing is designed to be uncomparable.
- Half day AED 499
- Full day AED 599
- Per vehicle, up to 6
City-tour pricing in this market is a small dark art: a low headline, tickets billed at the door, waiting time appearing on invoices, and totals that cannot be compared because nothing is itemised.
Our answer is boring on purpose. One price for the car. Every ticket listed. The lunch optional and priced. Nothing else exists to be added. This page is that arithmetic, worked through to real totals.
Three packages, one per-vehicle price
| Package | Duration | Covers | Price, whole car |
|---|---|---|---|
| Half-day tour | ~5 hours | Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace, Corniche, Heritage Village | AED 499 |
| Full-day tour | ~8–9 hours | All the above + Qasr Al Watan, Louvre, Etihad Towers, Yas Island | AED 599 |
| Full day, Land Cruiser | ~8–9 hours | Same route, six adults in comfort | AED 799 |
| Full day + Ferrari World | ~9–10 hours | Landmarks morning, Yas afternoon | From AED 599 + tickets |
Every figure is for the vehicle, up to six people, driver-guide included, VAT included. Two people or six — same number on the invoice, and the per-head cost is your division to make.
What the doors charge, printed here
| Stop | Entry | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque | Free | Fri 12:00–15:00 closed to visitors |
| Qasr Al Watan | AED 65 / person | Daily 10:00–17:00 |
| Louvre Abu Dhabi | AED 63 / person | Under 18 free · closed Mondays |
| Emirates Palace, Etihad Towers, Corniche, Heritage Village | Free | Views, drives and the free village |
| Ferrari World (optional day) | ~AED 345 / person | A whole day — not a tour stop |
| Lunch (optional) | ~AED 60 / person | Arranged, or stop where you like |
| Photographer (optional) | From AED 50 | If you want the day shot properly |
Tickets are bought at the door or by us at cost, never marked up, never bundled. That is the entire policy, and it is the reason our totals can be checked against any official price list.
Real groups, real totals
| Group | Package | Sum | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Couple, the essentials | Half day | 499 + 0 (all stops free) | AED 499 — AED 250 each |
| Couple, everything | Full day | 599 + 2×(65+63) | AED 855 |
| Family of 4, kids under 18 | Full day | 599 + 2×65 + 2×63 + 0 for the kids at the Louvre | AED 855 and the Louvre’s child tickets cost nothing |
| Six friends, everything | Full day | 599 + 6×128 | AED 1,367 — about AED 228 each, guided, driven, all day |
The pattern is plain: the car price dilutes with every seat filled, the tickets scale per person, and the mosque being free is what keeps the essentials day under AED 500 for a whole family.
How to read a cheaper quote
Genuinely cheaper exists: shared coach tours, priced per seat — slower, fuller, fixed loop, and a fair trade when budget rules. We say the same on the main city tour page: a couple chasing the lowest number should take one.
Falsely cheaper also exists: a “private tour” headline under AED 100 a head, with tickets, waiting time, parking and “service” materialising later. Our standing rule from the scams page applies to city tours identically: ask any operator for one itemised written total — the ones worth booking answer in one message.
If a quote anywhere beats ours after itemising, take it with our blessing; comparable and honest is all we ask the market to be.
Fill the car — and keep an evening for the sand
Value verdict without varnish: at two people, private touring is a comfort purchase — AED 250–430 each buys control and quiet, not savings. At five or six, it beats almost everything — double-digit per-head money for a guided, driven day.
And the reference point for every dirham of it: the evening desert safari at AED 100 with pickup — dinner, shows and the dunes included. That is the value king of this entire coast, and the city tour’s job is to be worth its place beside it.
The full ladder is on prices and timings; send a date and head count and we will quote both days in one message, itemised, nothing in advance.
City tour prices — your questions
How much does an Abu Dhabi city tour cost?
With us: AED 499 for the half day and AED 599 for the full day – per vehicle for up to six people, not per person – with a premium Land Cruiser option at AED 799. Entry tickets are always separate and always itemised.
Why do you price per car instead of per person?
Because that is what the cost actually is – the vehicle, driver and guiding. Per-person pricing on private tours is just arithmetic dressed as a discount. Six people in our car pay AED 83-100 each; two people pay more each, and we say so.
What do the entry tickets add?
Grand Mosque free; Qasr Al Watan AED 65; Louvre AED 63 with under-18s free; Emirates Palace, Corniche and Heritage Village free. A couple doing everything on the full day: AED 599 + AED 256. A family of four with children under 18: AED 599 + AED 260.
Why are some tours advertised so much cheaper?
Shared coaches genuinely are cheaper – and slower, fuller and on a fixed loop; a fair trade if budget rules. The trap is ‘private tours’ quoted low with every ticket, wait and add-on billed later. Demand an itemised total and the market sorts itself quickly.
Are there hidden costs with your tours?
No. The car price, the ticket list, optional lunch around AED 60 a head and an optional photographer from AED 50 – that is the entire universe of costs, printed before you book. VAT included, nothing paid in advance.
Is a city tour or a desert safari better value?
The safari, and it is not close: AED 100 with pickup buys dune bashing, camels, dinner and shows. But they answer different days – and the city tour’s value climbs steeply the more of the car’s six seats you fill.
