The whole process: message us on WhatsApp with your date, head count and where you are staying. We reply with the options and one total, VAT included. You say yes. That is the booking.
No form, no account, no app, no payment page. Your name and head count go on the evening’s list — the driver has it, the camp has it.
On the day, the driver messages when he is close (or you drive out to our pin, for the AED 35 self-drive). The WhatsApp thread in your pocket is the paper trail, and it is one you can actually reread — every promise in writing.
A name, not a barcode
The camp gate at Al Khatim works from the booking list, not a scanner. Give the name, in you go. The marshal rarely needs to see the thread at all.
It also means the things tickets are bad at are easy here: nothing to print, nothing to lose, no panic when a phone dies on the way out — the list does not care about your battery.
The one thing the gate cannot do is admit people who never booked. There is no box office in the desert and no on-the-day till. The camp caters and seats for the evening’s list, so turning up unannounced is not a shortcut, it is a wasted drive.

Dates sell out. Tickets never did.
Because there is no ticket inventory, nothing “sells out” in the ticketing sense — but vehicles and camp capacity are real, and on the big dates they fill.
The crunch weeks: the Christmas–New Year fortnight, February half-term, and Eid. Message two to three weeks ahead for those. The rest of the year, a day or two of notice is comfortable, and same-day is often possible outside weekends.
Booking early costs nothing here — literally: no deposit holds your date, and cancellation stays free to twelve hours before pickup. There is no cheaper Tuesday or surge Friday; the price is the price all year.
Payment, cancellation, the details
Nothing in advance: no deposit, no payment link, and never card details in a chat message — anyone asking for those is not us. You pay at the camp, cash or card, VAT included.
Cancellation is free to twelve hours before pickup. After that we have committed a vehicle and a driver.
Prices: AED 35 self-drive, AED 50 shared coach, AED 100 hotel or home pickup, AED 599 private car, all on prices and timings.
The camp is at Al Khatim, about an hour from the Corniche and forty minutes from the airport — and the evening is roughly six hours door to door.

Where do I buy desert safari tickets in Abu Dhabi?
You don’t – there is no ticket. You message us on WhatsApp, we agree the package and one total, and your name and head count are the booking. At the camp you give the name and walk in.
Is there a ticket counter or box office at the camp?
