Compare & Choose: Every Desert Safari Decision on One Page
Morning or evening, private or shared, AED 35 or AED 250, here or Dubai. Eleven honest comparisons, each with a straight answer — and the one question that settles most of them.
- Eleven comparisons
- Same 18 inclusions
- No deposit on any
Every choice on this page moves the same three levers: how you travel, where you sit, and what hour you are in the desert. Nothing you pick changes the camp, the buffet or the shows — the eighteen inclusions ride along untouched from AED 35 to AED 999.
That one fact defuses most of the anxiety. You cannot buy the wrong evening; you can only buy the wrong journey to it. The ten guides below exist so you do not do that either.
Three levers, eighteen constants
Transport is the price ladder: AED 35 driving yourself, AED 50 on the coach, AED 100 from your door, AED 599 for the whole car. It buys convenience and a clock, never a better camp.
Seat is one decision: open carpets, or the front majlis bay with a backrest at +AED 50 a head.
Hour is the big one: morning, evening, sunrise or overnight are genuinely different trips sharing one desert.
Hold those three levers in mind and every card below becomes a five-minute read instead of a dilemma.
The eleven comparisons

Prices & timings
Every package, every start time, one table. If you only open one page before messaging us, this is the one.

Morning or evening?
A night out against an excursion: sunset and shows, or empty dunes and your day back by noon.

Private or shared?
Six shared seats cost AED 600, the whole car costs AED 599. Above the line it is arithmetic; below it, a real choice.

Abu Dhabi or Dubai?
Written by one side, checkable by anyone: quieter dunes, lower prices, and the cases where Dubai honestly wins.

Is it worth it?
The question behind every other one on this page, answered without a brochure voice.

Seats per car
How many actually fit, where the car seats go, and the head counts where the private car quietly wins.

The cheapest way in
AED 35 driving yourself, AED 50 by coach — and why the low price is structural, not suspicious.

What is included
The full eighteen-item inventory, the only two paid extras, and the promise that nothing is sold at the camp.

Is VIP worth it?
What each step up the ladder actually changes — and the upgrades we will talk you out of.

The Hummer question
The badge photographs magnificently and drives dunes worse than a Land Cruiser. What the premium really buys.

Evening or overnight?
The trip that ends at half nine against the desert after everyone leaves. Two very different nights.
Or ask the question that settles it
Send us five facts on WhatsApp: head count, ages, dates, where you are staying, and any hard deadline (a flight, a dinner, a bedtime).
We will send back one named package and one total with VAT in it — and the reasoning, so you can check it against the pages above. When the cheaper option is the right one, we say so; the fastest way to lose a decade of repeat guests is one oversold evening.
Nothing is paid to hold the date. No deposit, no card details, free cancellation to twelve hours before pickup — so deciding early costs exactly nothing.
Choosing — your questions
Which desert safari should a first-timer book?
The evening safari with hotel pickup at AED 100 – sunset, dinner and the shows is the version people mean when they say desert safari. Everything else on this page is refinement.
What is the single best value option?
Self-drive at AED 35 if you have a car – the identical evening for a third of the pickup price. Without a car, the AED 50 coach. The inclusions never change with the price.
When does private beat shared?
At five people it is worth it and at six it is cheaper – AED 599 for the car against AED 600 for the seats. Families with under-fours usually land private too, because of the car seat rule.
Morning or evening, in one line?
Evening for the show, morning for the desert. First visit: evening. Photographers, toddlers and summer: morning.
Do any of these choices change what happens at the camp?
Only the seat you sit on (the VIP majlis at +AED 50) and the hour you are there (overnight, sunrise). Everything else – transport, vehicle, badge on the bonnet – changes the journey, never the evening.
Can you just decide for us?
Yes, happily – send the head count, ages, dates and where you are staying, and we will name one package and say why. We do it a dozen times a day and we will tell you when the cheaper option is the right one.
